In his first-ever address at the United Nations, HRH the Grand Duke of Luxembourg reflected on the fundamental lessons Scouting teaches us about leadership, solidarity, and empowering the next generation. To build a world centred on human values, we must give youth responsibilities and the space needed to act.
HRH the Grand Duke is championing the Scouting Movement on the global stage in his new role as Honorary Chair of the World Scout Foundation. As a lifelong ambassador in the Scouting world, he is dedicated to ensuring that youth are trusted, heard, and ready to lead.

Messengers of Peace
Through transformative initiatives like the Messengers of Peace, Scouts are actively building bridges across cultures and communities.
Since its launch in 2010, Messengers of Peace has engaged nearly all 176 National Scout Organizations and invested $27 million into more than 500 national, regional, and global projects. These investments have inspired Scouts to undertake 16+ million projects and actions , totalling nearly 3 billion hours of community service contributed towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
