Scout Aid - Nepal

Introduction
Support Our Relief and Rehabilitation Efforts for the Victims of the Nepal Earthquake
The world witnessed in shock as the people of Nepal reeled from the aftermath of the worst earthquake to strike the nation since 1934. The current situation reveals a grim picture – more than 3,300 deaths and twice that number injured so far. Not to mention the destruction of homes, historical buildings and public infrastructure. Many have fled from their homes fearing aftershocks, taking refuge in tent settlements, which have mushroomed in the landlocked nation in a matter of days. The country has since been brought to a virtual standstill.
